Introduction/Objective:
A rigorous mental exercise designed to give you absolute control over your thoughts, stopping involuntary mental chatter and overthinking through focused attention.

Exercise Steps:
1. Grab an analog clock with a visible, ticking second hand (or use the Clock Exercise app).
2. Sit comfortably, take a deep breath, and focus your gaze entirely on the second hand.
3. Watch the second hand move for one full minute (60 seconds), contemplating only its motion (its speed, color, shape).
4. Do not allow a single external thought to enter your mind during this minute.
5. If any thought arises (e.g., ‘I am hungry,’ ‘Is this working?’, or a memory), stop immediately and restart the minute from zero.
6. Progress gradually: start with 15 seconds, then 30, until you can achieve a full minute of pure focus.

Benefits:
– Curbs involuntary overthinking, anxiety, and obsessive thought patterns.
– Clears the mind to boost creative output.
– Enhances concentration and mental endurance for deep work and prayer.
